OK I HAVE DECIDED TO STICK WITH WHITE!!!!!!

I have decided to stick with white cabinets and maybe later on when I can have help in doing something more drastic to my cabinets then I will try. I really do like the clean white look of white cabinets and always have. Except if they are stark white so I will tone them down a little bit. I am excited to finally be decided and now get done quickly. As soon as I have a full weekend then I can post finished pictures. But until then I will post later.

Just a little about Dallan. I went to his class today at school for his special experience about a book that he chose to read to the class that was special to him. Dallan chose A Monster At The End Of This Book. Dallan and I read books at night to each other. I have been reading this book to him since he was 2 years old. I always used different voices when I read this book and he has always liked this book, so any way this is the book he chose. I videoed him reading it to his class, much to my surprise he started reading to the class and sure enough he started using different voices I thought the class was going to tease him but they just laughed and really enjoyed the book. Dallan's teacher was laughing so much she had to step outside the room. It is so fun to watch Dallan have so much fun participating in school and love interacting with his friends. I love you Dallan and keep reading. When I can figure out how to get the video on here I will post it for those who want to listen.

I am not sure I like my cabinets let me know what you think?

I don't know if I like the way my cabinets are turning out or if I should just stick with white or go with a cream color. I kinda like the glaze look but I am not sure that I can do all cabinets the same it is very time consuming and I just want to be done.

Kamdyn's Update And Visiting With Great Papa

On March 2, 2011 we had Kamdyn's Yearly Doctor's appointment with his Cardiologist. Dr Su we love him he is great and very good with Kamdyn. We have been trying to let Kamdyn just grow and let the hole in his heart try to get smaller as he grows and the wall that is next to the hole to grow also. We have given it almost 3 years and at Kamdyn's appointment we found out that the hole has gotten bigger and the wall is not growing. All along Dr. Su has been upfront with us and kept us informed so we had a idea what was going to happen. Reality never really hit until Dr. Su said Kamdyn will need open heart surgery in July. My heart sank and I couldn't speak. I didn't know what questions to ask or how to respond. I mustered up something to say and it probably sounded so stupid to the doctor. So Matthew and I need to think of questions and write them down so we can remember what we want to ask. I know Kamdyn will be in good hands and that our Heavenly father is very mindful of this situation and we need to have faith and a testimony to help get us through this. Also family is a huge part of our support group and Matthew and I have said many times we know we could not do this alone and without family and each other we would fall apart. So A big thank you to all our family and friends We love you from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep you posted about the events and dates Just keep checking our blog. I am not very good at updating but maybe I can be better so I can keep document of Kamdyn's progress and how he is doing.

Update On My Weight Loss

I am still plugging along with my weight loss. You never realize how difficult it is to lose weight. But OH!!! how easy it is to put it on. I have Now Lost 33lbs. I am excited to get to my next goal of 10 lbs. I reached my 1st goal of 30lbs and now I need to make just smaller goals as I go so I won't get so discouraged and I can keep losing. I did have a cheat day on March 2 and had Cafe Rio, it was wonderful. I did feel guilty but that shortly went away when I tasted the delicious food.

I WASN'T GOING TO DO THIS!!!!!

This is for Em and Julie and anyone else who wants to see my progress. I have been trying to lose weight since the first of the new year. I set a goal to lose 30 lbs in 12 weeks it has been 6 weeks and I have already lost 24.5 lbs I am definitely going to make my goal and more than I will set another goal for 12 more weeks. I am hoping to lose 76 more lbs. We will see if I can accomplish this. Losing weight is definitely not easy. Keep your fingers crossed that I can do this I need all the help I can get. I have went down 1 pant size and shirt size. Seeing the progress makes me want to keep going and motivated.

Update on Kitchen Cabinets

I didn't realize what a project this would be. The kitchen fells more open and lighter already. we invested in a paint sprayer and once we were ready to paint things went a lot smoother. And you can't really see the brush marks which I like. Now to decide on what color of glaze any ideas I am up for suggestions.

Update Kitchen Cabinets

I got the cabinet redo bug from my sister-in-law. I have wanted to paint my cabinets but was a little afraid until Jenn painted hers. It was no stopping me after that. Thanks Jenn I think! We are just in the beginning stage and what a lot of work already. Matt thinks that I should not read blogs so much and we wouldn't get into so many projects but he is a good sport to jump in and help even if it is to hurry and get done faster so we don't have such a mess. I will keep you posted on how the cabinets are coming. I hope this lightens up my kitchen the cabinets are so dark I am ready for a change. Anyone want to come help?
I had to throw a few pictures of the boys. Kamdyn saw the camera and asked me to take a picture of him. He told me stand by the door and say cheese. And Dallan is so fun watching him act out movies that he has watched I had to snap a picture of him playing on the run.
