It Is Christmas Time!!!

Last Night the boys and I put up our Christmas tree while Matthew was out of town. I thought what a great thing to have done when he gets home. This year we decided to only do one tree and boy am I glad we did. We had only two ornaments have fatalities so it was a success. I love decorating with my kids because they have so much fun and are so excited which helps me to get excited.

Dallan Swimming!!!

Dallan is doing so well in his swimming. He has improved on all of his times and was even able to race a new stroke that he just learned. I am very glad Dallan has found a love of swimming and can share in my love also. Way to go Dallan we love you and keep up the good work.

Fall Leaves Oh So Many!!!

We have two huge trees in our front yard, man do they drop a lot of leaves. We wait until the last leaf has fallen before we rake them up or we would be raking all fall. Kamdyn happened to be with us when we were raking and as we were trying to pick up the leaves he kept playing in them. This is one of those moments that I was so frustrated and then had to step back and remind myself that these sweet and precious moments are hard to get back so just let him enjoy himself and we can re rake the leaves.. I love to see my kids have fun and take time to enjoy life.
Kamdyn had his fall program for preschool they wore turkey hats they made at school and sang some songs. He was so fun to watch and loves to sing. We are so blessed to have such great kids.

Halloween!

For the 2011 Halloween Dallan was a Ninja Turtle by day and a Batman by night and then a Ninja turtle by night, needless to say Dallan couldn't make up his mind. Kamdyn was a Tigger. We had a lot of fun this year we went to the school carnival and then to our ward trunk or treat, and to visit family.

Kamdyn's First Day of Preschool

Today was Kamdyn's first day of Preschool. I was so sad I didn't get to take him, but Matt said he was so good and so excited. I still am afraid he is to little but we will see how things go. Matt said he is the smallest in his class I hope that doesn't hurt him learning because he sure is smart and catches on fast.

Kamdyn And His Potty!!!

Kamdyn is Potty training this is the result of leaving Kamdyn in the bathroom by himself while I went to check on dinner. He turned himself around and was playing with his potty. He told me I fixin my potty and I asked him why is it broke he told me it won't take my pee. Oh this is not fun I really wish it happened automatically and no work was needed.
On another note Kamdyn really likes to be a big helper. Matt was trying to fix the sprinklers and Kamdyn needed to be right in the job. He ended up having tons of fun getting wet and playing. Oh the fun of having children who love to explore and are very imaginative.

Dallan's First day Of 2nd Grade

Dallan was so excited to go to school for the first day. He was even more excited for the social aspect of school. Oh boy is his teacher in for a big awakening. Dallan is a talker and loves to talk in class. When Dallan came home from school he told me that he already was moved by his teacher. My thoughts were she just wanted to get a feel for how the class worked together but no Dallan was a chatter box and was moved for talking. I told Dallan please don't make me have weekly Sunday talks with his teacher because she is in our ward also. This is going to be a interesting year. Dallan is so much fun and we love him dearly.

The Most Delicious Baby Back Ribs

On my Birthday I made Baby Back Ribs it took a long time but they were delicious. The meat just fell off the bone we couldn't even eat off the bone we had to eat it with a fork.

I put the ribs in some tinfoil with some salt and pepper. wrapped up the ribs and put them in the oven for 8 hours on 225 and then I took them out and put sweet baby rays bbq sauce and put them back in the oven uncovered for 30 minutes on 375 they were delicious. Matt and I were so stuffed we couldn't move after. Dallan also thought they were delicious and he kept asking for more meat.

BIRTHDAYS!!!! BIRTHDAYS!!!! BIRTHDAYS!!!! BIRTHDAYS!!!

We have had a few eventful months lately. We are very blessed to have Our two boys birthdays in July and Matthew and I get to celebrate ours in August. So we are done with birthdays in 2 months. But we also get to celebrate with our family members through out the year. There is not a month that goes by that we don't get to celebrate between Matthews and mine we get to send a birthday wish every month and sometimes more that once a month.

This year we were able to have Dallan and Kamdyn's birthday party together it was a blast we celebrated at the pool before Kamdyn had his surgery. Matthew and I had a BBQ at our house for our birthday it was fun to have some family here with us. Matthew got a blue ray dvd player, and I got a little camera that I can easily take with me to the kids events and on little trips to keep memories of all the fun we have. Matthews camera was just to big and he lost his battery charger anyway so this was a fun birthday present and I am still learning. I wish that we could have more time to be together through the week as a family to create and make more memories but at least we know we definitely get Sundays and Monday nights together.

Update on my weight loss and a cute picture of Kamdyn

I have lost 41lbs and feel great. I have a lot more energy and I know my kids love it. I am still plugging along it is difficult but really worth every minute I am eating healthy.

1 DOWN 3 SECTIONS OF CABINETS TO GO!!!

Here are the finished section of cabinets. I am exhausted between work, family and trying to get these finished. Finally after starting over 4 times I have completed one section that I like and can live with.
