Update Kitchen Cabinets

I got the cabinet redo bug from my sister-in-law. I have wanted to paint my cabinets but was a little afraid until Jenn painted hers. It was no stopping me after that. Thanks Jenn I think! We are just in the beginning stage and what a lot of work already. Matt thinks that I should not read blogs so much and we wouldn't get into so many projects but he is a good sport to jump in and help even if it is to hurry and get done faster so we don't have such a mess. I will keep you posted on how the cabinets are coming. I hope this lightens up my kitchen the cabinets are so dark I am ready for a change. Anyone want to come help?
I had to throw a few pictures of the boys. Kamdyn saw the camera and asked me to take a picture of him. He told me stand by the door and say cheese. And Dallan is so fun watching him act out movies that he has watched I had to snap a picture of him playing on the run.

Long Awaited Update

I know this is a mixed up post previously I promised Pics of Dallan riding his bike. Then of Matt's van. And then a Christmas Video. We had a fairly good 2010 some bumps in the road but for the most part good. We are glad that are boys are well and we are happy that we have been Healthy for the most part. Accept Kamdyn has had the Chicken Pocks for the past week that has been a trial in itself.
We wish everyone a Happy new year, and sorry I didn't get my Christmas cards out if you still want one let me know and I will send one.

Still Learning

So I am still learning on how to get video off Matt's cell phone of Dallan riding his bike so I can post. But I did manage to get pictures off my phone. Here is Dallans first day of school picture and some fun pictures of Kamdyn. Not much has been happening here we are excited to be getting new windows on the house and actually being warm this winter. We are all pretty busy with everyday life. Matt and I were able to get a weekend away for our anniversary Thanks to Grandpa Dart and Dedee for keeping the kids. The picture of Kamdyn in the white shirt he was playing in the dirt while I was at work and having a ball. Matt had to give him a bath because he was to dirty to wipe off and put to bed. The picture with Kamdyn laying on the table, he didn't want Matt so he layed on the table because he wanted me but I was allready at work so every time Matt came near him he would say go away and stay roght there. Hpefully I can figure out how to post the video if anyone has a idea tell me.

2 wheelin Dallan

Dallan has finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels. It was fun to see Dallan get so excited to want to ride without training wheels. He has been fighting us about not taking off his training wheels, so Matt and I decided not to push anymore and when he was ready he would do it. A couple days ago he told Matt that he wanted to ride his bike without training wheels so he could be a big boy and ride his bike to school. Matt told him that would never happen we live to far from the school but we could drive him closer and then let him out to ride his bike. Dallan got so excited. Our next challenge was the bike Dallan had was way to small to learn everytime he pedaled his knees would touch his chest. So we went to look for a new bike. Dallan wanted of course a expensive bike I did not want to buy, I told him if he wanted that bike we needed to save our money a little longer and he needed to wait. He was sad but was willing to take a bike that was less expensive. Matt preceded to tell him we could go look at another store to see if the one he wanted was cheaper. Of course no luck so we went home to look on the internet for better prices. Dallan disappeared for a little while and can back with his bank. Dallan wanted to pay for the rest of the price of the bike I was not willing to pay for. What a big kid he is getting to be so we counted out the difference and Dallan helped to make his first big purchase. I think it makes Dallan more appreciative of his new bike he helped pay for. It took Dallan a little while to save his money and he didn't realize how fast it was spent when it took so long. He was sure questioning how he could save up that much money again really soon. I love life lessons Dallan gets to learn that are fun to watch. I will post pictures when I get some all I have is video right now.

Birthdays

Today is Matthews Birthday and I would like to wish him a Happy Birthday. I couldn't ask or a better father for my two boys. He takes good care of them. Matthew recieved a mitre saw, and a chain saw for his birthday he was pretty excited now that we have a house he has been doing some projects that he needs tools for and we have been borrowing tools from family and friends and are greatful but we need to start getting him tools that are is and not worrying about breaking others and having to replace them.
Matt and my birthday are 3 days apart and so we celebrated together today. Matt gave me a IPod touch he totally surprised me I definately did not expect that. But definately a pleasant surprise. Now I just have to learn how to use it. So all together we had a great birthday.

Not Much To Blog About

I have a hard time thinking about what to post. I think that is why I stopped my blog before. Anyway I am still going to try and keep this blog going. Not much has been going on just keeping up with my kids. Dallan has been in swim lessons and gymnastics he loves doing both and is improving tremendously. My sister is teaching Dallan swim lessons and he is doing well listening this year last year he did not want to listen. My sister called me at work to tell me Dallan was diving into the deep end of the pool and and swimming back to the side all by himself while she stood on the side of the pool watching. I was so proud of him. Kamdyn is his active little self not growing much in height but still very active. We get to wait a year before we get to go back to his cardiologist to find out what the next step will be for fixing his heart. Kamdyn loves swimming in the pool also. He is not one bit afraid of going under the water. I can put him under the water and he can bring himself to the top and tries very hard to turn to his back. we are still working on that but he laughs almost the whole time in the pool and thinks he is just like the big kids. Enough about our life and here are some pictures to enjoy.
